In 2002, while attending a summer hockey training camp, I suffered a serious spinal cord injury that changed my life forever. After two spinal fusions and close to five months of inpatient physical therapy, I was able to leave the hospital walking on my own. I spent the next seven years going to a variety of top physical therapists and trainers. By the time I graduated high school, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
I received my Master's in Athletic Training from LIU Brooklyn where I worked with a variety of Division 1 athletes. Wanting to expand my knowledge further into the neurological rehab word, I proceeded to get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston. While in Boston I trained at Harvard's Spaulding Rehab Hospital where I honed my skills in treating patients with complex neurological conditions.
As a Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, and Strength and Conditioning Coach, my goal is to draw the best from each of these disciplines to help my clients mentally, physically, and emotionally
