In 2002, while attending a summer hockey training camp, Dr. Richmond sustained a serious spinal cord injury that permanently shaped his life and professional mission. After undergoing two spinal fusion surgeries and nearly five months of inpatient rehabilitation, he was able to leave the hospital walking independently. Over the next seven years, he trained and rehabilitated under the guidance of high-level physical therapists and coaches—an experience that helped define the clinician he would ultimately become. By the time he graduated high school, he knew exactly what path he wanted to pursue.

Dr. Richmond earned his Master’s degree in Athletic Training from LIU Brooklyn, where he worked closely with Division I athletes. Driven to deepen his expertise—particularly in neurological rehabilitation—he went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University in Boston. During his training, he gained valuable clinical experience at Harvard-affiliated Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.

Today, Dr. Richmond integrates physical therapy, athletic training principles, and strength and conditioning to support the full spectrum of human performance. His mission is to help clients progress not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally—through high-touch, individualized care that restores confidence, resilience, and capability.
